Welcome To Myflug Air - Your Choice in North-Iceland

Mýflug Air has operated Charter & Sightseeing, as well as scheduled flights in Iceland for close to twenty-five years. Additionally the company provides Air Ambulance Service to most of Iceland.

The company currently operates four aircraft for it's charter and sightseeing operation, a Beechraft Kingair 200, a Piper Chieftain and two Cessna 206's. For Ambulance services the company operates a second Beechcraft Kingair 200. Charter flights are operated year-round, on request, sightseeing flights are mainly seasonal. With a strong growth in Tourism in Iceland the company's focus has been shifted from scheduled flights towards a dedication to the tourist market.

Pilot training

The group with the instructors standing by TF-MYX
A theoretical King Air 200 course is now being held in our hangar at Akureyri airport. When the theoretical part is completed the pilots will attend  Flight Safety Intl in Farnborough, England where the simulator training is conducted.


TF-FMS Contract Finalised

Contract Signing at ISAVIA headquarters

Myflug and ISAVIA have signed a contract on the management of TF-FMS. Myflug will manage the aircraft for the next 3 years, after wich the contract may be extended twice for one year at a time.


Selection of Myflug's bid to manage TF-FMS

TF-FMS on Flight Inspection Mission in Greenland
Icelandic state traiding center has announced selction of Myflug's bid to manage ISAVIA (flugstoðir ohf.) aircraft TF-FMS. Myflug will provide total management of the aircraft including flight crew, maintainance and insurance. ISAVIA and Myflug will, following negotiations, enter into contract for 3 years with an option to extend for 2 years.
