It is safe to say that ambulance operations in Iceland have been lifted to an unpresidented level by the introduction of a specialised aircraft and round the clock standby crew. The time from "request to ready" has been dramatically cut and Myflug's average response time now measures 28minutes for quick response cases. This is well below the 35min response time requred by the goverment.
"We are quite happy with the developement of the project. The working enviroment of our crews, and medical personell has changed much for the better with the introduction of the Lifport System. In 2007 we will construct our own hangar and thereby greatly improve the company's facility's at Akureyri.
