The Kingair is a highly efficient turboprop Aircraft capable of high altitudes and high speeds reducing travel time and increasing passenger comfort when flying above weather. Even though the Kingair possesses the “high and fast” qualities of modern day jets it can land and take off from shorter runways that any aircraft in it’s class. These Qualities make the Kingair uniquely equipped to serve Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The aircraft will take you directly from Iceland to most of Greenland, Scandinavia and the UK. Mýflug Air operates two Kingairs, one is used for charter and calibration flights, and the other one is a dedicated ambulance aircraft which handles hospital flights around Iceland. It is also available for special missions if requested.
