Grimsey island is a small island located about 40 km (25 miles) off the North coast of Iceland. It is located on the Arctic circle (the 66.6N parallel), is inhabited by roughly 90 people and is the Northernmost settlement in Iceland. The island is a very popular destination with our customers, especially during summers when the bird life is the most active. Grimsey island is also renowned for the midnight sun, from mid June to beginning of July the sun doesn't set, providing 24 hours of sunlight!
